My wife is getting the 851B2UL as her carry gun. I'd like to put some laser grips on it for her and I'm probably going to go with the Crimson Trace. Does anyone have any comments about the LG-185 vs the LG-385? The 385's have the rubber overmold, which would probably be nice...but this is primarily going to be a carry gun, not an everyday range gun.
Thanks guys!

Re: Taurus 851 - Crimson Trace?
I believe I have the bigger grip on my Taurus, and to be honest, I like'em.
the taurus came with the smaller grips, and my pinky would hang off the bottom, making it even harder to shoot.
I think the bigger grip is easier to hang on to, and it may help in recoil.
I would check to see which grip is made specifically for your taurus, as the guy selling me my set (a dealer at a gunshow) said these were the only ones that would fit this model.
if both fit your model, then I personally liked the bigger grips. I found absolutely no detriment to carry, as I still pocket carry this gun.

FWIW, IIRC, AFAIK, FTMP, IANAL. YMMV.
