That's a tough one. Check out Galco for starters. I have two of their leather holsters, one of which I wear practically daily. But as you can see from that link (check next to "Magnum Research - Baby Eagle" and then hit the submit button at the bottom of the page), there are limited options for that model of gun.

That does bring up a good point when looking for a carry pistol.

If you choose to carry something that is not in the mainstream, you will just have to accept that accessories are going to be very hard to find. If you stick with more popular carry models, then accessories and especially holsters will be much easier (and less expensive) to find.

I have several holsters that I puchased used for pennies on the dollar but since I carry a pistol that is not so common, they all took a while to find.

and some pistols that are "mainstream" still seem to have limited choices for carry leather. My Sig 239-40 cal is one of those! I did find a "local talent" than built me both a nice IWB and OWB, so I'm happy, but that particular weapon is not of the top of any of the holster maker's lists.

I guess I'm just cheap. :bigear:

I'm the guy who insists on getting that $100 holster for $5.00 out of some used holster bucket someplace.

that is basically what I did but it took a long time of looking.

Check with Tucker Gunleather. He is making a very nice leather lined Kydex holster. I like mine.

you know i now realize the difficulty finding accesories for my weapon. Still i would not trade it for the world. It has become part of the family you know.

The Sig 239-40 may not be "on the top of the list", but I haven't had any problem finding top quality holsters for it - Milt Sparks VMII, Comp-Tac and High Noon. Try finding a good holster for a Sphinx! :grumble

I had a difficult time finding a holster for my common Ruger.
I found http://www.kdholsters.com/ and ordered the Cochese Defender IWB holder for my carry pistol.
Bad thing is the lead time 12-14 weeks, but that's pretty much the norm with quality leather holsters.

In addition to waiting for my plastic, I'm waiting on my holser, and my RugerLCP to come in. Tough times..... :willynilly:

I own a Ruger P89 and a P345. The pistol I'm waiting on will be my back up gun. On the bright side, I'm holding up pretty good. I've got a great support group here! Its good to know that I'm not the only one waiting!

I build my on so called holsters for 3 o'clock and 9 o'clock made of leather for a slip and works great. never tried a store bought one and have no desire to try it. Can't get any easier with these. There is a name for this style but can't recall it.

I have a baby eagle .45 that is almost impossible to find a holster for. I finally settled on http://brigadegunleather.com/index.html. When I ordered my M-11 in January the lead time was 16 weeks, and now the lead time is 34 weeks and I still don't have my holster. I am getting really impatient but it appears they are a top notch outfit. I just hope the wait is worth it in the end.
