44 mag revolver

If a person were going to shoot .44 spl in a .44 mag revolver in an IDPA match, does anyone have a suggestion of which revolver might be good? I was looking at the Taurus Tracker 
Ruger is currently offering the double action Redhawk with a 4" barrel in .44 Magnum.
Gun show price around Houston has been about $579.
S&W model 29's might be the slickest action. New will run more than the Ruger, but used will be in the same ballpark.
The Taurus would be a viable option at lower cost than the others.
