If you want to see a list of DFW shows only,
http://www.aubreyturner.org/gunshows/ is a good place.
Looks like the closest one is Febrary 9th in Ft Worth. After that, Feb 23rd in Mesquite .

I went to the last show up in Tyler and found a couple of good buys. When you see all the same thing over and over in Houston its nice to see some new vendors and different guns for sale.

I went to the Tyler Show 10 or so years ago but really wasnt in to guns back then (I went with a friend) so I didnt pay much attention. I am looking forward to the one in Ft. Worth on the 8th-9th but really dont know what to expect? I havent been to a gun show in quite a while and this time I actually have intentions of finding an AR or AK to take home with me. Any tips on how to find a good deal at a gun show with so much selection? Is the Ft. Worth a big show?

Ft Worth is a pretty good size show. 800 tables or so. I always walk the floor, jot down prices, compare (read: call my brother to check pricing, then beg the wife for money) and go back to the best deal. Don't forget to check out the private sellers walking around, I have found some great deals that way.
