My very early flat bolt inland carbine, in fact, took it out today and let the daughters boyfriend shoot it. still shoots great after all these years.

Had to work so no bbq, I recon my S&W model 65 and my 6946 S&W would fit the Most “American “ gun in my collection the 65 being the one I have had the longest. Also I can’t leave out the AR ether. Proud to live in a country that allows me the right to own and cherish firearms. Despite all the problems we should always carry the battle cry “ Long live America” to heart. Enjoy your independence.

1. My EOD which is a Springfield 1911 RO compact.
2. My baby 1911 - a Springfield 911 380 pocket carry.
3. My American Rifle - S&W M&P AR-15.

All made in the good ole USA.

It was the one I was carrying. It happened to be a pocket carried SP101 in .22LR.

This is it, next to the 1943 Inland M1 Carbine I also own - just like the one my dad carried ashore at Iwo Jima.








I’d call it about 95% condition....maybe a little better. It has a little bit of pitting just inside the muzzle from corrosive WW2 ammo, but it shoots very well. I’ve hit reasonably accurately with it - although like all examples of the type, the sights are not that great. The only mods I’ve done to it was to put a polymer recoil buffer “donut” on the guide rod, and a slightly stiffer recoil spring as a hedge against modern ammo being maybe a little too hot. I don’t know if that was necessary or not, but it seemed the cautious thing to do, and the pistol seems to cycle just fine with it in place. I still have the original spring, and the donut slips right off the guide rod, if I ever want to restore it to WW2-issue configuration.

I can't believe how high the ejection port is- it looks way higher than the current crop of "mil-spec" 1911's. Put into perspective, just how much they cut out in a "lowered and flared" port.

Snag free sights- the Army was ahead of it's time!

Thats got be my Kimber Hero Custom...definitely falls into the BBQ gun catagory for now but it's as Patriotic as I have right now.

I have a Ruger American all weather 308, it's a tack driver, and if I do my part, it's still much more accurate than I am.
All of my guns are American made. Smith and Wesson, M&P 9, Marlin model 60 .22 rifle, Mossberg 500 shotgun, etc.
I have nothing against foreign made guns, in fact, I'm seriously considering a CZ 75, but there are a lot more US made guns, I'm still wanting to buy. I'm thinking of starting a gofundme account to help support, American gun manufacturers, by sending me the funds necessary to buy them.

.....so, we have a winner in the Ruger AMERICAN category!!
