Good plan.

However, don't expect to find any "management types" there to talk to, unless you've contacted someone beforehand. The club is run by "volunteer labor".

You are welcome to look around, assuming the gate is open, but cannot shoot unless you are a member or a guest of a member or a participant in one of the sponsored events.

If you haven't already done so, check http://www.psc-range.com" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false; for instructions on the application procedure and to register for a new member orientation.

Hey ya'll. I am 57, male, concealed carry from the beginning (here in TX). I have one grown son, one grown step daughter and two grown step sons with five grand daughters. My EDC is a Sig 229/.40 in either a M-TAC iwb or a Jim Burke belt slide. I have other hand guns, but, I have carried the Sig from the start. If I change my EDC it will be for a Sig 220 SAS Carry 2nd Gen (a serious itch developing for that pistol). I look forward to meeting and talking with like minded Texans.

Hi everyone!

27
Male
Student on sabbatical; on wife-support/funemployed.
Married almost 5 years to my best friend from high school
Not CHL yet. Just got my packet in the mail yesterday and I can't wait to get the ball rolling.
I don't know what my Texas State Representative House District is. We live on Goodfellow AFB.
I'm getting a Taurus "Slim" PT 709 9mm. 7+1 with an Uncle Mike's IWB holster with integrated mag pouch

My wife is in the Army, active duty (none of that weekend warrior stuff :P). We just moved here from Monterey, CA. I'm originally from Los Angeles (born and raised). I'm studying to be an EMT but we're not going to be in San Angelo long enough for me to continue my education here, so everything is on hold until we get to our permanent duty station.

Hi all, I'm Jim, and I'm currently waiting through my CHL application.

Age: 32
Gender: M
Profession/school status: Program Manager
Marital status: Married w/ a <1yr old daughter
Years CHL: 0
Carry guns/equipment: FNH FNP-9 and considering a Glock 19 as a secondary if I can find a good deal on a used one.

I took my CHL on 3/20 with Julianna at Capitol Area Practical Shooting in Georgetown, TX. One of the things Julianna talked about during the course was IDPA matches. I'd like to give that a try after a bit more training and maybe some familiarization with IDPA events. If anyone knows an IDPA group/club in Pflugerville or Round Rock, I'd love to get their contact information.

I look forward to diving right into all of the information found in these forums!
