UPDATE:
FedEx was finally able to make delivery and the dealer called us up a 3:30 pm to inform us. Asked when we could pick up the pistol his response was "well I really need to take a nap". I thought, a nap? For gods sake, it's 3:30 in the afternoon! Should we take him milk and cookies?.
After three more phone calls, 2 text messages and 4 hours later, we finally get the ok to come retrieve our pistol. No apologies, no nothing.
From now on, I'll be dealing with GT's.
The good news is that the gun makes up for the shoddy service. It's a CZ Custom Shadow, single action only with a 3½ pound trigger w/over travel screw.
Please excuse the excessive factory lube...

I can very much understand why you'd be frustrated. Apparently this dealer wasn't home and didn't take the time to pick up the weapon promptly. Then he calls you to say it's in, but he doesn't suggest a time to do the transfer as part of his call (based on what you wrote). Many "kitchen table" FFLs operate their business as a small side operation for themselves and friends. Some, like me, operate their business as a business.Otto wrote:UPDATE:

I don't fear guns; I fear voters and politicians that fear guns.
