My LC9 ate 107 rounds of JHP and FMJ ammunition flawlessly the first time out.
The trigger pull and break were clean, and double-taps and rapid fire shots were accurate enough at 7 yards.
You could say my first time out with the LC9 was similar to these reviews:

Just my two cents

My guess is that you have small hands. I have bug mitts so it is much harder to get a decent grip where it is comfortable to pull the trigger three feet back so it will fire (maybe I'm exaggerating a bit but it seems like a 3 foot trigger pull).
Actually, my hands are about average...not small...not huge. To your point, I put a Hogue Hand-all Jr grip on my LC9 which fleshed out the grip nicely and helped me center my shots today. Now up to 207 flawless rounds and shooting closely to the point of aim at 21 feet. The trigger pull is a bit long, but it is smooth and breaks cleanly at the same point each time. It reminds of a DAO revolver but easier to pull. I'll keep this one a while.

This is the first Ruger I've had that I did not like, I have run across others that have fired the LC9 and have similar sentiments to me. I'm glad it works for you and you like it, I'll stick with Kahr (their double action trigger is nice) or I am considering getting a Sig P250sc (I've been wanting to try those out anyway).
