The XD9 SC is the one gun that every woman I have let shoot liked it. My mother and aunt both took their CHL test with it. My wife, a relative non-shooter, likes it almost as much as the 22LR we shoot. I would recommend it for anyone and especially a woman who has some knowledge of how to use a pistol.
