Well, I got mine today, it was approved on Monday, and as far as I can tell this is Sept 2008, but mine is the old style card.
it prolly made a while back, or maybe they're still using up the old supply of cards first. dunno.

wish they'da just used the money, instead of on a new card, but on more staff...
FWIW, IIRC, AFAIK, FTMP, IANAL. YMMV.

Maybe they should have spend the money on making the DL harder to counterfeit and making sure criminal aliens can't get a real DL.

Maybe they could have spent the money on faster CHL processing. After all, the only people you ever need to show a CHL to are the ones who can verify it easily, so what would be the point of forging one?

It's specific for GE in Schenectady, NY.
Nope, it's a specific part of downtown Schenectady, which includes GE, and also my old NY Telephone Company office at 133 Clinton St. and is surrounded by 12305, 12306, 12307, and 12308.

12306 also leapfrogs over part of 12305, but enough of tlhat.

It sure is an ugly card.

My lovely bride of 1 year (Sept 22) received her CHL yesterday and it is one of the new formats. She mailed out her app. on 7/4/08 and it arrived 99 days later.

We had our nachos already at the SA Rampage game last night so not sure what to pick up at Wally's today. Can't go wrong with a box of ammo though.

Hate to tell you, but even minor league games are professional sporting events and you can't carry to them. The law doesn't make a distinction between minor and major leagues.

I just wanted to clarify (because I have gotten PM'd on this already). Neither of us carried to the AT&T. I am aware of it being 30.06 and about sporting events of this nature. I was stating that we had our 'nacho fix' already and now upon going to Wally's (for the first cc walk) would probably involve some other masticating ceremony.

Sorry for the confusion but thank you all for looking out.

But the whole point of the nachos is to get you nice and messy whilst carrying. I say it doesn't count. ;-)

They didn't have nachos for my walk. I had McDonald's instead. It was messy enough to qualify, IMO. :ack:

I know! It's getting harder and harder to fulfill this right of passage when Papa Wally keeps switching up the concession areas! At least we still have the Walmart Walk Tactical Map.

Or you could get a portrait done. Nothing says good concealment like having it shown for years above your fireplace with no one noticing.

It certainly is powerful ugly!!

I wonder if they hired the same people who designed the ugly new passport card.
