Collectors in Houston just got in some Aguila .380 90gr jhp - 50rd box for $38.95. If memory serves me right, didn't someone on this forum recommend Aguila ammunition just recently?

I went to Carter's again on Monday on Wilcrest, they have several different brands of FMJ .380, from $26-$29 for 50 and WWB 100 count for $55. I didn't buy any, but I did walk out with a Henry Lever 22...

My 6 boxes (300 rounds) of PMC .380 just arrivied at my house from Cabelas. It took one month from order to arrival. I have never fired this bullet from my LCP but I have fired many PMC .223 out of my Bushmaster and they work well. I would not call this instant gradification (like finding .380 on the shelf at Academy), but I do have enough rounds for 3 more visits to the range. I can't shoot more than 100 rounds at a time with my LCP without getting shooters cramp. I paid $124 (taxes/shipping included) for 6 boxes/50 and it came with a large dry ammo storage box. $20.66 box

I have 300 rounds of .45 that have been on backorder since 4/15/09. They're now showing 1-2 weeks as the estimated ship date for about the fourth time since I placed the order. Hopefully it sticks this time.

Went to High Caliber gun show in Pasadena yesterday. Ok supply of ammo to be found. Picked up 200 rounds of .380 for $20.00 per box of 50.

Found some "Collins Company" cartridges. Haved only shot one box previously picked up at Marksman. Seemed to be pretty good stuff.

Any opinions out there on this stuff?

That's good. I like to see the small guy survive and supply a quality product.

Will have to buy some 9mm the next time I see them at a show. :txflag:

I recently bought four boxes (50 rnds/box) of .380. I've shot only 26 rounds so far (Ruger LCP). They worked fine.

I recently shot about 30 rounds of Aguila 90gr JHP through my NAA Guardian .380 with no problems at all. They all went bang and the little Guardian ate em up. Not a lot of recoil from that light bullet though. I also shot some 95gr FMJ through the Guardian and the heavier recoil was definitely noticeable.

FYI

The Arms Room have .380 JHP in stock. $29 for 25 (not sure about the brand).

I did snag 25 9mm Magtech Guardian Gold for $20 while I was there.

Score at Academy on Market and I10, sorry, it was all the .380 they had, but they had lots of the Hornaday 9mm as well as tons of self defense 40 and 45.

Tireshred, congrats on finding the coveted .380 and the Hornady. What did you pay for them?

Thanks, it was a real find for sure.

$25 each for the Hornaday 9mm, $33 for the .380.
