After seeing what he did to a classic BAR when he was on "Sons of Guns" can't say that I'm too impressed.

I am betting his guns will cost so much the average person will not be able to afford to buy one. Just like his bikes.

No thanks, don't plan on watching or buying his t-shirts like the rest of the population that cannot afford his bikes. I did follow the American Guns link, didn't see any BAR, maybe I was distracted by the Paige Wyatt gallery. oops.

Agreed, I almost cried a little bit when I happened to see that episode...steve817 wrote:After seeing what he did to a classic BAR when he was on "Sons of Guns" can't say that I'm too impressed.

That "upgrade" was just plain wrong on about 20 levels.mewalke wrote:Agreed, I almost cried a little bit when I happened to see that episode...steve817 wrote:After seeing what he did to a classic BAR when he was on "Sons of Guns" can't say that I'm too impressed.

I may have missed something, but isn't he a felon?
If so, I would question his ability to get a FFL.

That's a good point and I believe you're correct.bdsnooks wrote:I may have missed something, but isn't he a felon?

Have a feeling he'll sell a lot more tee shirts and "accessories" (as in useless chinguses that have no function) than actual firearms. Probably some new 1911 grips that are extra gaudy. That's about it.
Could be wrong though.

Re: Jesse James going into the gun business
He doesn't have to be the one with the FFL, just the guy with his name on the building. The guy is good [questionable?] at branding himself, and this is just another avenue. Get a partner who holds the FFL and is OK with him putting his name on the sign, and he has himself a gun shop.bdsnooks wrote:I may have missed something, but isn't he a felon?

edit: let me rephrase - if he was a partner in a legal partnership, I know he has to list himself on the FFL application, but I'm sure there are other business structures that would allow him to still be an investor or involved in the business to get around that issue.
