Re: Ammo
The best prices for name brand ammo are online. For low quality ammo, sketchy reloads at a gun show win.
I believe the basic political division in this country is not between liberals and conservatives but between those who believe that they should have a say in the personal lives of strangers and those who do not.

Re: Ammo
Don't go to Ray's Hardware in Dallas because they are not selling ammo unless you are buying a new gun and then you are still limited.
Academy has decent prices and there no limit on anything other than .22LR.

Pretty good selection of guns and powder at Ray's(when they have it), but I've always found them to be pricey.

Re: Ammo
Within the last several weeks, Academy has put most pistol ammo back on the shelves in the firearms section with no limits. But as of last week, 9mm & 22lr were still being kept at the front customer service counter with a limit of 2 regular packs or 1 value pack. Did that change this week????carlson1 wrote:Don't go to Ray's Hardware in Dallas because they are not selling ammo unless you are buying a new gun and then you are still limited.

Re: Ammo
I was at Academy yesterday in North Richland Hills and it was all on the shelf except for the .22. They also had a sign posted that said it was all available except for the .22.
The .380 was slim pickings as was the 9mm. Everything else was well stocked.

Re: Ammo
The fact they put the 9mms back on the shelf is a significant good sign though. Now if we can find us some .22s before the 22nd century.carlson1 wrote:I was at Academy yesterday in North Richland Hills and it was all on the shelf except for the .22. Re: Ammo
Does anyone have any experience with Freedom Munitions? Prices are good...but wondering about the ammo?

Re: Ammo
I have had nothing but good experiences with Freedom Munitions. The ammo is of good quality and I have not had any FTF or FTE. I can't tell any difference between their reman ammo versus new factory ammo. It is also fairly clean burning compared to some factory ammo I have used.Blindref757 wrote:Does anyone have any experience with Freedom Munitions? Prices are good...but wondering about the ammo?
The laws that forbid the carrying of arms... disarm only those who are neither inclined nor determined to commit crimes.

I have purchased and fired several thousand rounds of 9mm 147gr reloads from Freedom Munitions with no problems whatsoever. I find they are in better condition than new from Academy.

I have seen several thousand rounds ran through with very little issues..Blindref757 wrote:Does anyone have any experience with Freedom Munitions? Prices are good...but wondering about the ammo?
