My New EDC

#1

Post by Guns_n_Vettes »

So last weekend I went gun "browsing". Was not in the market to buy just yet but something caught my eye. It was the NRA edition Ruger LC9. I fell in love and that was it, I had to have it.
Concealing as a lady is difficult at times with more fitting clothing. But this makes it a bit easier, not alot larger or thicker than my .380. The LC9 (My I mean business gun) joins my Taurus .357 (My just because gun) and Taurus .380 (My lady gun). Now the search is on for a proper fitting holster.

My .380 with flashbang holster for church and dressy days.

Nice. How's the trigger? Tried dry firing a LC9 and didn't like the trigger at all. Might have just been that gun or maybe would feel better after a couple hundred rounds thru it?

I also was not impressed by the long trigger pull, which I have noticed is the chief complaint, but did a bit of research and decided it was worth the cost to have this trigger modification done. It will sorten the pull length by half. I'm going to break it down this week and send my hammer and trigger bar in to be done. If the kit is in stock of course.
Most of the other 9's I looked at was much thicker and was not comfortable for me to carry.

Let us know how it turns out/cost. This was my only hesitation with the LC9.
