Its a bit late but you asked.longtooth wrote:Be sure to post a picture of the new arrival.
I thought that looked familiar.I have an aluminium frame 9X18 Hungarian made Makarov. It has a heck of a kick to it but its an accurate little firearm. My hubby and his friends say that my 'bra conceal' gun...b/c I could stick it in my bra and if a guy was looking at my chest he wouldnt notice the gun.NcongruNt wrote: For the uninitiated, the PA63 is a Hungarian Walther PPK clone (think James Bond's gun), in 9x18 (9mm Makarov), with a polished aluminum alloy frame. It's quite a nice gun to shoot, and suprisingly accurate for a 21 ounce pistol. I can spend hours at the range shooting it alone. I've upped the recoil spring to 13 lbs, and have an 11 lb hammer spring waiting to be installed (vs. the ~18 lbs it's currently at).
There ya go!
Nope.I'm right hand dominate and just carry my holster a bit different. The holster can be used as a left side draw IWB,but I just scoot it over to SOB at about the 4-5o'clock position.casselthief wrote:even SOB still seems like a lefty to me.TheYoungGuy wrote:So "moodyamber", are you carrying SOB or have we got a south-paw on our hands?
Cool, thanks for the input.I'll keep that in mind for my next holster.I'm still new to the CHL scene so I'm just trying to learn as I go.casselthief wrote:yeah, but if it's inside the waistband, even small of back, you're going to draw the gun, cross it across your body as you draw.
a Right handed holster, IWB, should slide around to Right hand SOB carry.
that's all I'm saying.
you don't want to cross your own body with the line of fire when you draw, could lead to a bad situation.
casselthief wrote:coolio. I had this misconception as well, when I went to buy my first CC holster. the salesman explained this to me, "Ya wouldn't wanna shoot yer kidneys out, wouldja?"
ask questions, this is the place for it.
