As an arms dealer, and a consumer of fine BBQ, I am 100% certain that a SIG P226 of any type would make for bad tasting BBQ.AndyC wrote:Now that's nice enough to be a BBQ pistol

Is this edition DA/SA? I almost ordered this from Buds but they have it listed as Double while the other 226s say Single/Double.

Definitely DA/SA. You can see the decocker. That and I know it's DA/SA :)rev210 wrote:Is this edition DA/SA? I almost ordered this from Buds but they have it listed as Double while the other 226s say Single/Double.

Wow, that is nice. I would love to have one of those. May I ask how much "contrail" I would need to lay down for that?

Buds stomps the snot out of me. If I _barely_ made money, I would have to charge $869 (After tax $936.35), Buds sells for $882 (plus FFL transfer fee). When sales tax is around $10, people don't blink. When sales tax pushes the price of a pistol into the near-4-digits zone, wallets tend to stay shut :(TexasGal wrote:Wow, that is nice. Darn it
I was hoping it was less, but I am not surprised. It is still on my wish list, though.

Re: Sig P226 Lone Star Edition
Took her to the range yesterday! Put about 300 rounds through (combination of Remington UMC FMJ and JHP, WWB FMJ, and Speer Gold Dot) with no failure to feeds or any other type of malfunction. My wife stacked 5 in the 10-ring with her first 5 shots! Amazing gun! Very happy with my purchase.
I can confirm that it is DA/SA. I paid $900 before tax from Ryan with Houston Gun Sales up in north Houston. He is a great seller if you are in the Houston area. If you are near Austin, let OldCannon hook you up!
