THE TITANIUM TACTICAL POCKET PISTOL

Caliber .45 ACP, 9MM
Weight 14 oz Titanium (empty)
Width .665 inches
Length 5.5 inches
Height 3.9 inches
Barrel 3.0 inches
Frame Titanium or Aluminum
MSRP TBD

========================================

Light weight/recoil/ported barrels

I noticed the Diamondback DB9 can be ordered with a ported barrel [and night sights] now (it's light weight/thin for a 9mm)
(or manufacturer's ported barrel available separately too)
The only problem I've heard of with the DB9 is when Crimson Trace laser is attached, it prevents proper flexing (some Glocks had similar problems once) causing improper feeding from the mag (cartridge hit feed ramp) and sometimes causing the slide rail separation, so I wouldn't use the CT laser on one. /I've read of no problems with them except the laser issue.

Diamondback's DB9 also available with night sights now ... considering selling 3 pocket .380s and a Taurus PT709 and Keltec PF9 and trying one out as a new POCKET Bug if good reports continue. DB9 is size between a Rohrbach and a PM9, weight of a fly.
Latest review (night sights, Critical Defense ammo, but not the ported barrel)

I'm thinkin might get one of those .45s in this thread (or the 9mm they'll make) ... and a DB9 with the new options when available --Orange colored DB9 (HD model when available) with Compensated barrel, Nickel slide (EX model), Night sights (tactical for racking slide)) .... as BUGSs instead of the two .380s I NOW carry as BUGs for my Glock 26 or XD45

.380 HD shown (HD=colors) I think a Nickel slide (EX model) would look sharp on that in a DB9 with night sights and a compensated barrel

The orange color of that DiamondBack model almost makes it look like a training gun. Not sure if that's advantageous or not... the BG may think it's a toy until it goes boom.

I'd bet that criminals are less familiar with training guns than LEOs are, ... might buy a second for an Officer to realize I'm not the bad guy too ... dunno. Main reason I'd get it is ... Because I'm in Texas and New York doesn't want colored guns.

New York just wants to be able to label every gun as an "Evil Black Gun." I'm sure they'd like to ban chrome next. :smilelol5:

Reminds me of the guns in the TV show Outcasts. It was a brilliant BBC sci-fi show that got canceled after season 1 :grumble

I need to get around to taking photos of my Duluth Trading Co pants, with the 12" deep pockets ... lately, I carry a P11 for 13 rounds of 9mm as a BUG in front pocket, but haven't tried other pistols yet, I might can drop an XD45 full sized in and call it a pocket pistol.

I got 6 pairs of a couple styles of pants ... not all say "extra deep 12" pockets" but the ones which did .... amazing what you can conceal in there. the 12" is measured waistband to pocket bottom, so pockets are deeper if they are like a 5-pocket jean style than a slash pocket trouser style ... but the Foundary pants have an "extra" front pocket which is nice.

I need to do that review one of these days.

looking at the squared backstrap corner edges, and the marks the squared corner edges of the beavertail part on my PF9 left on my thumb bone, I think I'll pass; however I do like the idea... maybe not the price or design, but good idea.

RPB, thanks for the suggestion on Duluth Trading clothes. I like those pants and I see they offer longer tailed Ts also.

I have a bunch of their long-tail t-shirts, and they're great for concealed carry. I'm a big guy anyway, and it means I can reach over my head without my holster playing "peek-a-boo" when my t-shirt rides up.

I've posted a separate thread on here, a year or so ago, about their longtail t-shirts.
