Before I sold mine we had just got the "intercom." It allowed the wife to scream at me about my driving and now one else able to hear.iredwing wrote:Thanks for the welcome. The Wing is one fine bike. The only thing it needs now is for it's rider to get his CHL! It has everything else - XM Satelitte Radio, Backrest, Armrest, CB, GPS, Intercom, Cruise.....
Hmmmm, I know the Glock 22 won't fit in the fairing pocket, maybe the Glock 23 will. AFTER I get my CHL.

New here. I like the info presented.
Age: 50 something
Married Male
2 years TX CHL holder and before that had one for 3 year in Oregon.
Carry: 1911 Kimber Ultra CDP II with IWB
Currently Willfully between employment
I like to shoot and ride my H-D Motorcycles.
I like 1911's because they are like my Harley's, simple, easy to work on and easy to add custom parts to them.
Everybody shoot safe and stay safe.

Ya'll seem like a friendly bunch!
Age: 53
Gender: male
Profession: IT
Marital status: single, no kids
Years CHL: 0
Sent in my app Dec. 19, got my PIN 1st week of Feb, as of today "still processing."
I've been shooting all my life. Thought about getting a license ever since they've been available in TX. All the vagueness about "travelling" etc. made me decide to just get the CHL and not worry about it.
Carry guns/equipment:
I've been shooting Glock pistols for years and currently have a 17, 19 and 27. Don't know what I'll wind up carrying. Even the 27 seems a little awkward to conceal! Still undecided at this time.

Welcome Mike! I look forward to learning from your shooting experience.
I like a man with good taste in firearms Your Glock 27 is a wonderful gun for concealed carry.....thought by many to be one of the best. Actually, all of the Glock models that you own can be concealed...the 17 takes a little more effort, but it can definitely be worked into a gun that is carried everyday without being miserable.
You will find people here that live the lifestyle of concealed carry and have put a great deal of time, money, and attention into what they find comfortable and/or comforting.
I would be happy to recommend some holsters if you are looking for ideas. I would be happy to let you try any of mine if you are ever in my neck of the woods. Have a great evening and again, Welcome!
