9mm - 1,200 Factory (1,000 ball) + > 1,000 reloads + > 2,000 bullets, cases, powder and primers (primary carry and gotta practice a good bit, you know)
.380 - ~ 1,000 of all varieties (carry and some practice)
.38 - ~ 150 (Carry and practice)
.357 - ~ 150 (Deer and smaller, practice)
5.56/.223 - ~ 2,500 ball + ~75 TAP (practice, fun and TEOTWAWKI)
.30-06 - ~ 30 (Deer and Larger)
.22 LR - ~3,000 (Target, Practice, fun)
12 ga. - ~ 150 target/dove loads, 75 #4, 25 00Buck and 15 Slug (Various, incl. defense)
.177 Pellet - ~2,000 (target and squirrel/varmit)
Don't have nearly enough of any of it, though.

Russ, you're lacking at least a thousand rounds of .308 and a weapon to shoot it. You need to remedy that....I mean right away!

To the OP......Please, please, please show me a little mercy and edit your original post to correct the spelling of the word "and" in the thread title. It's making me crazy!

I agree that I need a .308. I might have to convince DividedAttention, though. I am thinking of trading/selling the Rem. 740 in .30-06 and picking up either an old Savage 99C in .308 or a Ruger Scout. Each of these speaks to me in different ways. I've also seen some Ishapores in .308 that intrigue me.

Re: How many word did you misspell and why?
How many: Fewer than 200 rounds.
Why: I shot the rest.
Why: I shot the rest.

Re: How Much ammo do you have on hand at home adn why?
I current have 1000 rnds of .45 acp waiting to break in my les baer. I load up a couple hundred every few days. It's getting harder and harder to find LPP .45 acp brass at the ranges though.
I've also got a couple hundred rounds of 5.56, and couple thousand .22lr's.
I've got the following brass ready for me to get off my butt though
1000 rnds+ of LC 09 Uncrimped 5.56
Couple hundred 30-30
Couple hundred .220 swift (needs to be annealed)
~1000 .45colt
Couple hundred .45-70
Couple hundred .308
Couple hundred .40 S&W
:)

Just finished "take your daughter to the range day" with my oldest. Down around 300 .22 LR now, shot through the Savage Mark II FVT, the Marlin 39 Century Ltd. and the SIG 1911-22. Always good to put rounds downrange....
