What size Revolver do you carry?
I will restart this for clarity.
Reading another post here got my curiosity up.
And I wondered how many people here carry revolvers and what size? This will be a new carry for me, but I've been researching it a bit.
I'll open another poll for how often you carry a revolver.
Thank you for your patience.

I usually carry a j-frame, sometimes an L frame and I just got notice that my Kramer concealment holster for my 3" N frame is done and will ship within 3 days.

I am scared of empty guns and keep mine loaded at all times. The family knows the guns are loaded and treats them with respect. Loaded guns cause few accidents; empty guns kill people every year. -Elmer Keith. 1961

Dont appologize for the 85. You in some fine company sir. That is my Sunday & tucked shirt only carry.JLaw wrote:Good carry gun there, the Taurus 85 is the same size as the S&W J frames, a compact 5 shot snub nose revolver.tsteven1 wrote:Begging your pardon, I'm not sure. I carry a Taurus Model 85 in 38 Special. As budget allows, I'll be getting a bigger one.

Also it is my only revolver carry for now. That 66 ran off w/ my assistant pastor yesterday evening.
Carry 24-7 or guess right.

I also carry a Taurus Model 85 in .38 Special. It's a great little revolver for the price. VERY concealable. It's my on person carry piece 95% of the time.
The incovenience to risk ratio for me doesn't justify a larger (reader higer power / more capacity) firearm for carry, although I will occasionally take along the Glock 19. That's just my choice for me, others have a different threshold....

This statement is good! There is a lot of truth here, and I'm sure it would make another excellent thread all by itself. Even though we never know when trouble will find us, we make a choice based on an assumption of the risks we will encounter that day.GrillKing wrote:The incovenience to risk ratio for me doesn't justify a larger (reader higer power / more capacity) firearm for carry
