Re: Pictures Of Your Daily Carry
Awesome! Looks pretty much like longtooth's holster.
One of these days I'm going to have a Tucker HF1 rig very much like that.
How do you like their "backwards" tilt magazine pouch? It just seems odd to me.

Thanks for the reply, I have not really had a chance to use my new carry rig as much as i would have liked, I received it from Tucker Leather while I was home on leave from Afghanistan. However all indications point to the "backwards" tilt magazine pouch being solid. I was able to draw the magazine and load it into my BDE with out any difficulty. I would highly recommend this rig to anyone interested.

My new CCW setup, a Volkmann Custom Combatant Carry with it's new Adams Holster Texas IWB leather. Awesome 1911 with a great fitting and high quality holster.

Just my beat up Colt Defender (scratched from a drop on concrete....Ouch!) only it now wears Laser Grips!
(And no it doesn't fail to feed, fire, or eject even thought it does have the dreaded 3" barrel.

I'm sure it is. Used to smoke the AF Hemingways when I could, but for the most part, was and still am a La Gloria man. The Chuchills.TXROADRUNNER wrote:Jasonw560 wrote:What brand of cigar is that? If your Wilson isn't getting any attention on account of that Volkmann, just let me know and I'd be willing to take care of it for a while, a long while, or even indefinitely.Rebel wrote:My new CCW setup, a Volkmann Custom Combatant Carry with it's new Adams Holster Texas IWB leather. Very nice set up, its really a shame we have to hide our rigs, so many of them are really works of art........!
Where did you get the holster from?
Thanks

The holster if from Luke Adams,it is a Texas IWB full leather lined with sharksin exterior, he is a very nice guy who does some awesome work. This is my second rig from him and I have slowly seen his order times go from a few weeks to around the 18 weeks that it is now. I have a few Milt Spark holsters and my Adams is just as high quality and actually much more comfortable.

Re: Pictures Of Your Daily Carry
KT PF9 with belt clip. Started carrying today & it is comfortable. I am going to look for a good leather IWB holster. I want something light & not too thick. Suggestions?
Re: Pictures Of Your Daily Carry
I've had good luck with Don Hume Ht721OT. I buy them from Gunner's Alley at about $50 delivered to your door.

They are well made and feel good (especially with the "sweat shield"). Just my two bits worth.

Re: Pictures Of Your Daily Carry
I've always been a sucker for those Colt Defenders.. They are beautiful. They just cost so darned much though for what little options you get.
Hope you're enjoying it and I am envious.
