Amen to that

As for mine, I have used it for almost 10 years. When I was 13 I wanted "Cowboy", but everybody already had their own variations of that. So my next course of action was to spell it differently. I phonetically pieced it together and this is what I came up with. Been using it, in some form or fashion, ever since.

Tuned in only for about two sessions of the current "Survivor" TV show this go-'round, but I kept asking myself if the Vietnamese guy's real name was Kao Boi (highly possible), or something he made up after he moved to the States...

Rallyman, I also love the rally it beats the heck out of going around in a circle. The spectators have to be much more sober and on thier toes.

Ya know, I have a hard time with this. Humility is one thing, self-deprecation another. I've seen you post, seen you stand up for your opinions.

You're not stupid. No one who could argue for whole-house, remote-controlled, low-light observational cameras could be stupid...they may want you to star in "Ocean's 13," but they sure as heck wouldn't call you "stupid." I haven't, in fact, encountered anyone in this Forum who was remotely close to stupid.

It troubles me. If I can't convince you to change your username, at least please give a different nickname we can use when addressing you.

Thanks, and Happy New Year.

hahahahahaha *laugh.

That was not really my opinion, mostly from a book called "Strong on defense" which I think every man and woman must read just like they must read "the millionare next door". One is about physical security/safety, the other is about financial security/safety.

I'll certainly make my children read them.

I don’t know... it just seems fitting…

Besides, "GlockOne9" might have been controversial…

When that does happen, though, I use JSThane.
Middle name is unique. Is the avitar a real closeup too?
Whoops, didn't realize you'd replied to this (and several months ago, too  ).

Yes, I was fiddling around with a digital camera some time ago, and took that. I've achieved a (somewhat deserved) reputation for often-bizarre "self-portraits" whenever I get hold of a camera, and that time was no exception.

It makes for a handy "avatar" icon, when sized down.
