That it was I was goign for, in my mind some one who aims for and hits a vital area with anything .380 or larger is most likely going to kill you

It's true that a solid hit with a .380 or larger round in a vital area will likely result in an end to the threat.
How quickly or slowly that happens will make or break the defender's day.

There's a significant difference between "pretty quick" and "eventually" in that result. The size and power of the round has a pretty big influence on the time it takes to achieve useful effect when the shootee really wants to keep doing what he was doing that made it necessary to shoot him.

When it comes to bullets, little and light doesn't do the same job as big and heavy.

Remember that whatever you choose will be all you have to work with in a moment of need.

Just my $.02. I carried a PPK/S for many years before I got my CW9. I'm a fairly small-framed guy, and it was no sweat to conceal. Rarely felt as if I wasn't carrying "enough" gun. Mostly, some gun is better than no gun.

I was just on another site and they state they would delete any discussions that promote a Mouse gun or 380 as a CCW choice.

That makes as much sense to me as a car repair website deleting any discussions involving metric wrenches.

Took my old VW bug to a local garage once for an easy repair and when I got it back I noticed the heads of several bolts were rounded off.

IMO, the only ccw that should be discouraged, is the one that you won't carry.... big or small.
