Re: Thinking about buying an AR
I have a question, I too am looking to buy an AR during my research I have come to like the Ruger SR556. Has anyone heard bad things about it? All i can find are good. For 1400 bucks it has the gas piston and Troy Industry rails and sights. It might be up there in price but I don't I am ignorant on the topic so I am just throwing it out there to see what y'all think.

I'm sure the Sig is a very nice weapon, but unless you're just flat rich it's too much money. Think about it, for that kind of scratch you could buy two M&P 15's or some other brand. I would much prefer to have redundant weapons than just one Cadillac.
Now if I was a filthy rich guy, I might buy two Sigs!!

It's also not an AR
