This thread, which was locked, has some new information. The former DEA agent's original lawsuit was rejected so he has filed an appeal. The shooting occurred in 2004.

It would appear the agent's mastery of law is exceeded only by his gun handling skills.

I have to give him an "A" for entertainment though, he certainly had ME laughing.
