Great little forum you have here. Been lurking for quite some time.
Guess now I'm legal.

About me:
Age: 35
Sex: Male
Occupation: Computer Guy
No CHL yet. I might hold the record for how long you can put it off
I will carry between a P239 SAS, P232, or Glock 23

Thanks,
Sam

Welcome Sam. Glad you joined the Forum. How long have you put it off? Have you had the class? I had a friend take the class and wait until the last minute to send his off. He was right at the deadline.

Thanks for the "Welcome" carlson1.
No, I have not taken the class yet. I got my first DPS packet right after the CHL bill was passed. I recently picked up a new one and plan to schedule the class early next year.
I need to shoot a few practice rounds witht he Sig 226ST first...

Thanks again,
Sam

welcome Sam. The qualification part of the class is not very difficult to pass. If you can shoot at all you will not have a problem passing.

Welcome. Don't worry about the shooting portion as others have said. If you can put 20 rounds on paper at 3 yards and 20 more at 7 yards you already passed, don't even have to hit it the last 10 rounds at 15 yards. Well not really on paper, but your full score target area is 18" x 12". Get the class done and mail it in so you can wait some more while it's on it's way!
