anybody know about nitesiters?

I came across some reviews for "nitesiters" night sights that are a lower cost option for firearms. As there is no aftermarket option for my Taurus 709 slim from trij or any other tritium sights that i have found this sounds like a good alternative for $14 and 8 pieces....

Any thoughts or experience with these things?

Save your money.

Details are in this 2008 thread.

Contributors in other forums advise that the front sight for a Glock will work on the 709 if you're willing to do a little fitting. I haven't found a solution for the rear sight, but the front is the most important anyway.
