Those are pretty ugly looking pistols there KinneyLee and shipwreck. Why don't you guys bring them over and hide them in my safe so no one will have to look at them.

Re: Post your 1911 beauties!
So took all three to Shooter's Station this weekend for a workout and went through 200 rounds between the three. I love the Eclipse. It shoots more consistently than the Tactical, or at least I did with it anyway. I might have to see about making it my IDPA gun if I can EVER find time to go again. The first requirement would be in the state.TxDrifter wrote:They get shot. The only one that hasn't been yet is the Eclipse Pro and that is only because I have been traveling so much for work. I'm itching to fire it. The Ultra is my carry gun and the Tactical is my IDPA shooter. Although because of that same travel I haven't been able to do that as much as I like either. I had a Beretta 92FS for years and decided on the Ultra when I was looking for a carry weapon. Suddenly I no longer had the Beretta and the Kimbers multiplied. They just "fit"USA1 wrote:if i had those , i would just lay them out and stare at them all day .
i'll use somethin else to shoot .

I know it's an old thread but I was playing with new camera/lens/flash setup today. Yes, they are a little dirty, particularly the Colt but, they are working guns rather than safe queens.
When you take the time out of your day to beat someone, it has a much longer lasting effect on their demeanor than simply shooting or tazing them.

I want to bump this thread. It seems as if it has been forgotten about... (all those nice, new Kimbers that were added)... you should add them to this Hall of Fame picture Gallery.
