The Fist thumb push off is rigid but small. Take a look at the photos and video the link in my post connects to. I've never experienced any discomfort from it.
Great, thanks. Ignore the PM I sent you.

UPDATE:
I finally figured out the trick to keeping the Uncle Mike's holster in large pockets than jeans, and not coming out with the gun, when the gun is drawn. Simply applying outward pressure when drawing the gun causes the strip in the center of the holster to adhere to the pocket, allowing for a smooth draw that leaves the holster in the pocket. I'm happy ;-)

I also pocket carry a S&W 642 99% of the time. It is my primary mode of carry. I know the drawbacks of it, but I have not found an easier way that works for me. As far as pocket holsters go, this one has been great for me.

Thanks very much to each of you who took the time to reply to my question about pocket carry and the PM9. I am convinced the Kahr would indeed serve the purpose very well and now I just need to find one at the right price. Gun show in FTW this weekend!

Thanks
JH

Me, too, except it is an Airlite at 12 oz empty, and an Uncle Mike.

As far as a 9mm pocketable gun, you actually have the perfect firearm - the glock 26. All you need is a quality pocket holster. Mika's works great.

I find that a jframe .38 is more concealable. I tried the Kahr PM9, but the weapons could not stand up to abuse as well as a glock or revolver. It could not stand up to large amounts of pocket lint.

The glock that you have is perfect for the task. If you find it to hard to conceal then get a jframe .38.
