Mike, - Welcome!

I took my class with ElGato on March 13, and he is great! I will refer anyone I know to him for the class.

Hello all from Fort Worh.

28 yr old Male
Will be married 1 yr on June 6
Expecting first child (boy) on June 3
Obtained CHL Nov. '09

The reality of a growing family has been a big factor in the desire to carry.

I just purchased my carry weapon yesterday evening at the gun show.

Thanks for the welcome everybody. I just got the gun yesterday and with all the time I spend at work I won't be able to go and shoot it until next weekend. Such is life I guess. Do we have any other M&P40c owners? I know the 9mm seems to be more popular (my brother-in-law carries it).

WE had one and loved it but my husband and I decided to opt for 2 M&P9C instead of one 9and one 40. It keeps us on the same page/caliber. We opted for 9 instead of 40 as we both shoot M&P 9 in IDPA.

Hello All,
Found this site recently and have found it to be a valuable resource.

Late 40's Male
Moved to Texas in 2008
Technical Support Engineer (Telecommunications)
Single
CHL last 1.5 years (better late than never)

Daily Carry
1911 or some variant,
IWB carry (can't wait to try out my new Cross Breed)
Glock 30 BU/secondary weapon
Win Ranger 230 Gr. SXT's or Hornady 230 Gr. TAP
I have a very strict gun control policy: if there's a gun around, I want to be in control of it.

Another one from Houston here.

Daily carry = pocket lint and sweat, but I'm working on it (well, can't do much about the sweat down here...)
