Introduction-

Hello Everyone!
I have been a forum lurker for a couple months, but I have just joined and wanted to introduce myself. I am an avid shooter (NRA High Power, NM and Tactical) and have lived in Houston, Texas for about 1.5 yr. I moved here from Alabama and me and my wife were CCW holders in Alabama. We both got our CHL's this past January and thanks to the advice on this forum, we got our NH Non-Resident (for Alabama reciprocity) about 2 days before Alabama and Texas signed reciprocity...oh well. Anyways, I have enjoyed the forum thus far and I look forward to contributing and using everyones great advice to build my knowledge base. I have just recently joined Bayou Rifles Shooting Club here in Houston, so if you shoot out there and are looking for someone to go with, let me know. I would love to meet some new shooting buddies!

Welcome aboard RollTideCHL. Glad to have you in Texas & on the board. There should be a lot of folks close for you to shoot with. Check out the CHLforum day at PSC shooting range. That is going to be a great day of learning as well as shooting & it is all CHLforum members. You will not be disappointed in any that you meet.
Good shooting.

Welcome RollTideCHL!

As my hubby said, I graduated from Bama in 1996 and had a great time during my 4 years in Tuscaloosa!

IMO there is no rivalry like that of Alabama/Auburn. I am convinced they make parents choose sides right there in the delivery room!

Again, welcome to the forum! Please tell your wife welcome as well. Since you guys are in the Houston area, please consider coming out to the CHL forum day at PSC in Pearland on the 30th. I know many here are looking forward to putting faces with names!

Have a great weekend and hope to meet you soon!

RollTideCHL,

You will really like this Forum; the people have much knowledge to share, and are friendly.

You've probably met me already at the Highpower or 300-yard match at Bayou Rifles. If you come to the Across the Course match tomorrow, look for the chubby old man with hearing aids. I will not be shooting tomorrow - fell off a horse (honestly, not making it up) and bumped my head - but will be giving a New Member orientation afterwards (Clyde is off hunting).

Have fun!

Regards,
Andrew

Thanks for the great welcome.
To Jbirdswife, Like any good Bama fan, I try to travel to as many games as I can, the weeekend of the PSC shoot, I will be Gainesville, FL to see the Tide take on the UF Gators.
Andrew, I will look for you next time i am BR. ( I took my orientation class from Clyde--he is great)

To everyone, thanks for the great welcome and I look forward to getting to know everyone!
