"Nam Deyonna Eth" would be a good character name for either the villain in a space opera or a generic terrorist.

I think it might be my name in Elvish. :smilelol5:

Mine is a nod to the shotgun in "Army of Darkness"...

Ash: Alright you Primitive Screwheads, listen up! You see this? This... is my boomstick! The twelve-gauge double-barreled Remington. S-Mart's top of the line. You can find this in the sporting goods department. That's right, this sweet baby was made in Grand Rapids, Michigan. Retails for about a hundred and nine, ninety five. It's got a walnut stock, cobalt blue steel, and a hair trigger. That's right. Shop smart. Shop S-Mart. You got that?

I am glad you explained your user name. When I first saw it I thought you were an older lady that chased after much younger men. :coolgleamA:

I haven't posted the meaning of my name yet, been around since last April. My wife calls me a computer geek and since I now carry a gun, I am now known as "Geek with a gun" = geekwagun

Back about '76 I used to use "Purple Possum" as a CB handle. I have since graduated to extra class ham a good while ago. When I first got started on this internet thingie, I was looking for information on how to fix my muzzle loading rifle. I found a group at http://WWW.TMMH.COM" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false; that seemed friendly and informed enough to help so I joined up. I needed a handle and O'Possum/TX fit the required format and sounded like an appropriate name for a relatively incompetent muzzle loader shooter. The rifle was soon fixed and sorry to say that it is now broken again but that is another story. I just kept using the name as silly as it sounds. Besides, reuse is more efficient that recycling!

Have FUN!
O'

p.s. I was using O' for a signature long before the Opra or the Obama came along and got popular or infamous. I do admit that several other folks have used O' before but just because others have done it doesn't mean that I can't too, now does it? :smilelol5:

mine's horribly lame...my blog (and gamertag) is letskilldave. I've had it for many years and use it for several logins (like thehighroad.us), somebody once asked me if I was paranoid that people wanted to kill me, so I decided to use the shorter "lkd". That and it makes my typing requirement for logging in a little easier

When I entered the Navy on a 4-year hitch, everyone that met me figured that since I was from Texas, I was a bigoted redneck. Rather than get all upset over it, I even named the country specials I did on the ships' radio station "The Redneck Country Hour". Of course, as a Journalist I also did the Classical, Rock AND Soul specials as well.....yeah, even down to the "appropriate accents". It was more a point of amusement to me than anything else - I'd never even SEEN a Klansman in "real life", and many of my closest friends were "OTW" (other than white). My folks taught me that you measured the person by their actions rather than the color of their skin - so I didn't pay much attention to skin color.
Did some freelance writing after the service, often dealing with issues that some city and county officials would rather not be brought to light, so figured that a "screen name" was the best way to avoid having someone wanting to look me up. :coolgleamA:
Along comes the internet......and GEnie - and yeah, "TexasRedneck" came around again, and I've used it ever since.
