Hello,

My name is Mike. I live in San Antonio. I've been reading the forum for quite awhile and have found it to be very informative and entertaining. I have applied for a CHL and have received a PIN, so technically I'm in the "Waiting Room". Below is a little info about me.

Age: 48
Profession: Petroleum Landman
Marital status: Single
CHL: Application Sent. PIN Received. Waiting.
Carry Guns/Ammo: Big Glock Fan. Double Tap Ammo.

Thanks for all the great info.

Welcome to the waiting room Landman. As you know from lurking around here, this is the time to work out the carry issues. What is your weapon of choice and holster so far?

Thanks for the welcome. I'll probably use either my G26 or G23 with a Beltster from Bandera Gun Leather for normal carry. A Beltster is a great CCW holster/belt. If you have never seen one here is the address.

I also have an older S&W Model 60, J Frame, Round Butt, 38 spcl that fits easily in my front pant pocket.

Since I travel a lot in rural areas I might keep something bigger in my truck. Probably a G20. Great gun with a lot of capacity.

Any opinions or suggestions are welcome. Take care.
