Here's what I've been carrying lately, Taurus 1911 Stainless with spare mag. It's a bit heavy, but not so much it's uncomfortable.

Your carry appears to be south paw IWB. You having any problems getting 9mm ammo for your wifes Taurus?

Good eye. Most people don't notice. I'm comfortable shooting and drawing from either side. I preferred the left because I do alot of driving and didn't want my weapon sitting against the seatbelt and armrest. The 9mm ammo is very hard to find. I keep a close watch at my local wally world. When I do find them. The wife and I usually buy the max limit.

I've tried IWB, OWB, vest and tank bag carry, all work, depending on what I'm carrying, but a fanny pack seems to be the way to go when wearing full PPE. I know it will probably separate from me in a crash, but I'm not sure I'd want an IWB or OWB when hitting the pavement or worse. Anyway, I picked this up this weekend for the fanny pack, a reasonably priced revolver, it has a harsh kick with 44 mag 240 JHP's since it only weighs 28oz, but is very nice with Silvertip 44 Special loads.

I carry it in my pocket or ankle holster. "rlol"

Really, it fits very well into my man purse (fanny pack) and that's how I carry it. Funny thing is I've never worn a fanny pack and I wore it in front with a Dickies shirt and not one person I've known for 30 years noticed it. Not too bad IMO.

My finger is not on the trigger, it's an angle thing.

Here's a pic of what I'll be carrying as soon as the plastic comes in. :waiting: A Kahr PM9, with Speer Gold Dots.

I'll try to get some more recent photos, as I've added a Hogue Grip and have two holsters for it currently (a FIST IWB/Tuckable and a FIST Pocket Holster). Hope to have a Galco Ankle Glove for it as well before too long. We'll see.

here's my new carry gun. i just installed the hogue grips, but i'm a little concerned that they'll grab the leather on the M-TAC. I guess I'll know when the holster gets here.
