then you know of the recall on the prefix 370-xxx
I highly suggest getting the pinky extension , makes if feel better when you hold it
Yes, my LCP is post recall, prefix 371-xxxxx.
I also picked up a new mag with the extension. It fits much better.
Can I buy just the extension base to put on the original mag?

As of 9am, the Walmart in Arlington @ Little Rd south of US287 had about six or seven boxes of WWB S&W40, 100 rd count for about 28.00/box. I don't use that cal so I don't know if that is a good price, but it's the first time I've seen handgun ammo at that store in several months.

Maybe things are easing up in general. I was able to find ammo at both Academy and Walmart this past weekend after not finding a single round for about a month and I also notice more posts about others also finding ammo.

This morning, Cabela's in Buda had about 300 rounds of Hornady's Critical Defense ammo in .38 +P, and assorted 9mm. Lots of overpriced .223 (PMC was the cheapest at $9/20), and not much else.

Also this am, McBride's had lots of 7.62x39, and the delivery guy wheeled in several cases of Wolf .45 ACP (steel cased) as I was walking out the door. While there, my wife fell in love with the LCP, but, as usual, there was nothing to feed it!

They have some 380 wwb 50 count at Academy on Central in Plano. 19 bucks a box. So if you like getting ripped off, this is your big chance. :biggrinjester:

According to what I've paid for some, your $19.00/box of 50 is a bargain!

Maybe I should have bought it up and resold it on Gun Broker....LOL. That price was hard for me to look at. I purchased a case of the federal eagle stuff last summer for 9 bucks a box of fifty. I may start selling it. Wow....a year ago if someone had told me 380 at 20 bucks for 50 would be considered a deal, I would have called the nut wagon to pick them up. But here it is.

I bet those two or three boxes are already sold and that was just a couple hours ago.

7.62x39 here....they include shipping. Seems high to me but if you don't have any it may not seem bad.

The academy in webster had a bunch, and when I say a bunch I mean the shelves were filled, of 223. They had remmington 250rnd 223, and a bunch of smaller boxes. They had one lone box of 40 s&w umc 250ct, which I hadnt seen in forever, so I picked the last one up. They also had some 9mm. No .40, .45 or 380. I tell you what it was a rare sight, to see any kind of ammo on the shelves let alone something I could use.

I guess I should keep trying....all the Wal-Marts and Academy's that I went to today were empty...

It's about to get a lot worse. Maybe it'll loosen up in two weeks after everyone loses interest in the story again.

If you live in the galveston/houston area I did find a load of 308 though it is wolf. But something is better than nothing. I think it was $14-$16 a box. It is the Arms Room in League City. I might pick some up today on the way home. I need something to plink with but don't want to use the good stuff. Oh it is FMJ i believe. Also he has .22LR I don't know about any one else but I haven't found any that is not subsonic and they got a shipment in as well.
