Just go to Widener's Reloading and Shooting Supply and order 1000 of .40 S&W.

http://www.wideners.com/itemview.cfm?dir=18|829|840" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

They show to have Wolf and Blazer in stock. Both are about $300/thousand shipped, or less. I have purchased from them before and they ship promptly. Sure beats dirving all over town.

If you decide to do it, I would do it NOW as it may be gone at any time.

Just a thought. Hope this helps.

Thanks for the heads up just ordered a thousand rounds from them. Never done buisness with them so I'm taking your word for it. That is a very good deal, it was just under $300 shipped. :cheers2:

Dang, I should have bought more ammo 2 weeks ago when I found it.

I started the auction at what I paid for it.

Which do you prefer, baby boy or girl?

So, I'll be hitting every sporting goods store within 30 miles tomorrow looking for .380. Can't beat 100% profit :patriot:

I almost feel bad for selling it at those prices, but dang, if someone is willing to pay it, I'll take it.

I posted 2 more auctions last night.

You're welcome.

Natchez Shooters Supply is also a quality organization. The seem to be out of stock right now, but they are worth checking, too.

Glad you were able to get what you needed. 1000 ought to keep you shooting for a few weeks.

Some of the retailers are getting what they can, some are sticking to their pre-hoarding pricing. It's a hit or miss if you can find any and if it's affordable. I have quite a bit on backorder at Midway and Sportsman Guide :thumbs2:

They're not kidding about the "Shipping Delays of up to 18 days". I placed my order on the 1st and I haven't received or hear anything. I'll give them till the 19th then I'll contact them.

As of about an hour ago (9:00am 4/13/09) the Academy in San Antonio, on 1604 and Portraco had about 50+ boxes of Monarch steel case 9mm for $8.99 per box of 50. Hey, beggars can't be choosy. I only bought 2 boxes because I have plenty but wanted to see how the steel case stuff works. I've had no problems with the brass Monarch .223.

1000 rounds of brass PMC .223 for $430.00.

Shipping to Houston is $30.00 so $460.00 or so shipped.

I have ordered from them before. Seem like good people.

The Academy on I10 and Grand Parway had Monarch 223 for less than $7 a box yesterday. A friend called me from there so I don't remeber the exact price, but it was $6.49 or something. I had just recieved a case of PMC from Bud's or I would have scopped it up.

Academy carries Monarch .223 in brass and steel case. The cheap stuff is the steel case. I've heard mixed reviews on it due to the steel coating fouling things up. The brass Monarch is like $9.99 a box. I've shot plenty of the brass stuff without problem.

On a side note, I just got 500 rounds of Hot Shot brass 9mm 115gr FMJ. I've never heard of this stuff before. It's made in Romania. I'll take some to the range tomorrow and see what happens.
