This follow up is years old but it's the first time I've heard of it. Apparently he sued the DEA for allowing the video to be leaked.

I know he filed suit, but I don't know if it's still going or if it was dismissed as frivolous, or failure to state a claim, or . . .
In my insurance defense days, we had a phrase for cases where the plaintiff was injured/killed due to their own extreme stupidity. We called it the "too stupid to live defense."

The DEA agent, Lee Paige, filed as a pro se plaintiff. His complaint was very poorly written. Since then, he has retained an attorney, but I haven't heard anything about the progress of his lawsuit.

Well, the law suit is back. His first suit was filed Pro Se. This time it looks like he got legal representation and successfully filed and won an appeal.

I think he was trying to re-holster. I also thought that I had heard he was originally suing over the release of the video because it made him look stupid and because of the exposure, he could no longer work undercover.
