Not carry guns yet, but will be soon
Kimber UC II .. Just factory right now, I'm change it up a little later on..
Not sure how often I'll carry this, but I will from time to time.. I've carried that thing for many yrs as a sidearm while hunting. Used to be a service revolver too, so it's been around.. Great shooting gun though.. Haven't decided if I want to get it refinished or just leave it alone. Has character as it sits...

Is that S&W marked S.P.P.D. ?? South Padre PD? Very nice weapons, I am sure it has some nice stories with it.

Re: Pictures Of Your Daily Carry
It's S.F.P.D Not sure where it actually came from, as SFPD could be many different departments. My dad bought it many yrs ago from a guy he knew that needed money, the typical story.. My dad stashed it away in his gun safe for the longest time and never shot it. I shot it a few times and loved it, so he gave it to me.
I'd like to know it's history, where it came from and things like that. I dont care to know what it may have been used for or things of that nature. Just what to know it's story. If it wasn't for that, I would have had it refinished long ago..

Re: Pictures Of Your Daily Carry
OK, I can't take it any more!!
Why the sharpies, shotgun shells, pencils, cartridges, in the trigger guard. Maybe its cause of my anceint training and background .. but this just shiverrs down my back.. I understand that that the guns have been checked and rechecked. and I've never heard of anyone shooting themselves while photographing, But I get the willys every time I see this.. Am I the only one?

Yes ....
Re: Pictures Of Your Daily Carry
Wondered the same thing. Not sure if I actually get the "willys", but I am curious. I've noticed little clear plastic rods in the trigger guards in the glass counter gun cases at Collectors Firearms in Houston. I'm glad someone else asked this question.Liberty wrote:OK, I can't take it any more!!

Re: Pictures Of Your Daily Carry
Never gave much thought to what was said about having something in the trigger guard. Especially with the 3.5 trigger on the glock, glad to say its the one that has the trigger lock on it 27/7. Good point Liberty.
Re: Pictures Of Your Daily Carry
It's a display thing. The rod (or pen or whatever) props the gun up for a more photogenic angle, or for a "cooler" display in the case.

Method and the right holster.. I'm tall and thin-ish and hide a full sized PX4 without any trouble, and I can do it with a t-shirt as a cover garment.
