Wal Mart has WWB "valu-pak" 100 round loose packages for $18.63.

That's only a little more than even the steel Wolf ammo from Academy.

IMHO it's a way better value.

I've ordered from Natchez and been very pleased with the Blazer Brass although the price is now up to around $ 9 unless you catch it on sale.

Lately, I've been using 115gr. Magtech as my practice ammo. I've gone through around 400 rounds (will be 600 as of tomorrow). So far, I've had no troubles with it, and have found it to be above average in ease of feeding. The polish on the brass is quite good, comparable to Hornady brass. It tends to be among the cheapest ammo at Cabela's ($11.99/50), and is also available in .380 at a decent price ($12.99/50).

A quick look at the Natchez site shows it to be priced at $10.49/50 there, which is a decent deal for range ammo in good quality brass cases.

I also have used UMC (250 round pack) in recent times, and have found that it is OK ammo, but seems to be a little dirty, the brass is not as well-finished, and is not quite as consistent.

As for WWB, the only place I know of where it is decently-priced is Wal-Mart. I rarely go there, but when I do, it seems they are always out of the WWB I need.

Well, for those who are close enough to Brenham to offset shipping costs by simply driving and picking it up, Ammunition To Go is a great deal. It's especially good if you're buying bulk amounts of ammo that would cost a whole lot of money to have shipped.

my dad bought a couple of those not long ago when I came to visit. he counted the number of rounds in the box and found that we ended up with a couple extra!

I don't think there is a box that didn't have a few extra and I have put away my fair share of them.
