I wholeheartedly agree.
Here's a fresh pic of my CDP gun. She just got a new SVI hammer and sear.

I am scared of empty guns and keep mine loaded at all times. The family knows the guns are loaded and treats them with respect. Loaded guns cause few accidents; empty guns kill people every year. -Elmer Keith. 1961

I like that short rail operator! How much does it weigh with an empty magazine?

No new ones here but had the pics up so here is a refresher.
DoubleJ, that is not an idiot scratch. It is a character mark. You use them. They are not layed on a soft carpet shelf in the safe.

Nice pair LT. Can't go wrong with either of those beauties.
This is my Pro Carry II. I've made it as thin as possible with slim grips, Colt thumb safety and mag release. A lot of honest holster wear on her and she's pretty darn skinny.
Mods on gun: Davidson grips, Colt Thumb safety. Colt mag release, Ed Brown grip safety, Wolff Springs, XS tritium front sight and Wilson 30 LPI MSH.
Other stuff: Surefire Exec Elite, CRKT ICHI, Wilson 47DB mags and Hornady TAP 230gr JHP.

Picked up new 1911 to feed my addiction . I haven't fired it yet, but I did strip it down today for a good once over including a clean and lube.
It's a Rock River Pro Carry...
