You haven't even started yet. Those are just "gateway" guns. The real expense is yet to come.

I bought both of the guns below on Independence Day, and in the last two months, I've spent about $2500 just on S&W revolvers.

8 3/8" 586 no dash and M17-2(1965)

Buy a safe, a very large one---you will be thankful later.

I don't want to get into how many I've bought over the past 7 months.

We should start a thread where us with large collections can post pictures of the entire spread. It would be fun to have an excuse to get everything out for a family photo.

To the OP... The first step is denial...INVEST in more guns, and the biggest and best quality safe you can afford. Better yet see if you can get a discount on quantity and INVEST two. :smilelol5:

And my trip up to Dallas on Friday is going to result in at least 3 new acquisition!! :eek6 We should start a thread where us with large collections can post pictures of the entire spread. It would be fun to have an excuse to get everything out for a family photo.

It might also garner some unwanted attention.

Good thought. Alright, nobody gets to see the photos of my two pistols and my lone rifle.

Stop it, stop it, stop it! None of us BUY guns, we make carefully thoughtout INVESTMENTS.

Now do you see the difference a single word can make with the spouse?

Seriously, there's a lot of stuff that I've spent money on over the years and ended up with a loss, but never with firearms. Best investment money can buy.

I have edited my original comment to reflect your excellent point, sir. I don't know what I was thinking. :banghead:
