Yes. It's a hot rod, but I would imagine it impossible to see from a picture - angle is off.TexasComputerDude wrote:oh wait, is that really a magic eye below it? whats it of? I never can see them.

Currently I am carrying my SA XD9 subcompact. But, I recently purchased this Springfield Armory 9mm EMP.
I have over 400 rounds through it and it will soon become my conceal carry.

One of these days I'm going to have to just break down and buy an EMP for myself. That's a nice pistol Micky.Micky wrote:Currently I am carrying my SA XD9 subcompact. But, I recently purchased this Springfield Armory 9mm EMP.

My new XD 9 Sub-compact. Have 300 flawless rounds through it so far. I love it!!! Still waiting on my CHL (108 days now ) but plan to carry the XD IWB with a Crossbreed Supertuck.
God Bless Texas!

Good for you. I'm glad you're so excited about your XD's success, but that's just the tip of the iceberg. Keep an XD clean and maintained, and she'll pay you back. I'm at 2,300 rds., and, more importantly, zero FTFs.Sidewayz wrote:My new XD 9 Sub-compact. Have 300 flawless rounds through it so far. I love it!!! My still-kinda-new Beretta PX4 Storm. She replaces a 92fs with >10,000 rounds on the frame that I have retired to "spare gun for weekend range fun" status. I love how the Storm shoots, and more importantly, she's a lot more comfortable for me to carry than the 92fs. So far, the Storm has about 600 rounds and I am getting a really good feel for the weapon.

I haven't taken the CHL class yet, but thus far, this is what I will likely be carrying (unless I can find a great buy on a compact 1911)...
Springfield XD 4" Service .40 S&W
(I'll leave the rifle rest at home...)

Re: Pictures Of Your Daily Carry
Hi. When I first got my CHL almost a year ago, I got a c-tac for my Taurus PT145 (Millenium Pro)....
Probably 'cause I'm not used to carrying large stuff on my belt (iwb), I never really got used to wearing it. I wouldn't carry it much because it was a pain to put on/take off.
Then I purchased a Kahr PM9 with a Fist pocket holster (really like the thumb release). I now carry it everywhere and always have it. I don't even notice it in my pocket anymore.
It doesn't print.
I also carry my new Father's Day gift... the Leatherman Skeletool CX!
I really wanted to carry the .45 (and sometimes still do)... but reading this forum, I learned the first rule is to have a gun!
Thanks everyone for all of the AWESOME advice you've compiled here!!!
