For those of you who call PSC home...
I attended an NRA - Range Safety Officer course today in the "blue building". You guys have a nice place out there! I've heard about it often on here and elsewhere, but never had the pleasure to visit before today.
Kudos to all of you involved in the operation of PSC.
I also had the pleasure of meeting Marc Gentine. What a class act. He's a great guy and a fine instructor.
A truly great experience. Maybe some of my fellow TXDPSA officers will chime in with their experiences.

Membership Director
Well I wouldn't be much of a membership director if I didn't take this opportunity to invite you to join.
PSC is a private range about 20 minutes South of Houston in the city of Friendswood. The membership fee is $150 per year (plus sales tax). This is roughly equivalent to what you would spend a year in range fees if you went to a public range once a month. All of the money received for membership fees is spent on the range and it shows.
Membership fee is prorated. Our membership year runs from July 1st through June 30th. In May and June new members pay for the end of the year plus next year. SO... April is the cheapest month in the year to join.
Check out our web page at:
http://www.psc-range.com/
details about membership are at:
http://www.psc-range.com/psc_membership ... ation.html
We have two orientations this month. One on Saturday 4/8 at 9:00 AM and the other on Monday 4/24 at 6:30 PM.
Marc is the instructor for the orientations as well.
For those of you that shoot matches at PSC, sometimes the directors look at the split between members and non-members. The smaller matches are almost exclusively members but the IDPA and IPSC matches are about 40% members and 60% non-members. I have been pushing the IPSC shooters to join and I think enough regular shooters have joint to push the split over 50% members.

Arrowhead range
You do have the option of Arrowhead Range just outside of Bryan.
It's not as nice as PSC but it is closer.

I also enjoyed the RSO class.
This was the second time I have been to PSC. It is a class act.
If I ever get moved, I will join up.

PSC Rocks!
Tom,
At PSC how does it work if I want to bring a guest and you are a member?
I shoot IDPA every month and I love PSC, I spend $15 every time I go to Top Gun, I need to bite the bullet and become a member.
