Fully understand. My wife is too. 5'2". Some are shorter but not many. My son is in USAF stationed in Alamo city. Like yall get to shoot when we are together & it is a 4-hr drive for him. For me at the speed limit nearly 5. My wife shoots, my Mom, his grandmother (boy is he prowd of that) The grand ones both shoot. His wife does some. Enjoy every minute.

Yes, we will all have to get together and have a "professional geek" shootout (not at each other of course - we'll use "users" as targets).

All of us gun-tote'n-compu-geeks need to work at the same place  . I wonder how long it would be before someone felt threatened by a computer and had to apply deadly force to "stop" it.

XP versus XTP... my money is on the one with sharp points.

My agency installed SurfControl on my days off last week. Quite deliberately defying IT policy against installing unapproved apps, I've always used Firefox instead of IE. I came back on my Monday, read the usual homepage stuff from the central office, then tried to check the weather (it's part of my job). I got a SurfControl warning. Hmmm... let's try another site. Nope, blocked.

I found that the new filters block access to everything outside our WAN unless you're using MSIE. Because --get this-- java security controls don't work properly with Firefox, so please use IE instead.

Java? IE? Security? ROTFLMAO!

Why do they think I was using Firefox in the first place? I sat down at my computer one day, and found another user had clicked the dreaded "yes, scan my computer for viruses and install tons of adware while you're at it" popup button.

I love geeks. We couldn't get along without y'all. But seriously... even though your jobs rely on bugware from Redmond, you've got to be tempted to strangle the people who specify MS apps. I admire your restraint!

I was thinking more against the lines of HP vs HK, XP vs XD or 2000 vs 1911 but the same premise. Of course, with RAID, hot swappable drives, multiple CPUs and Failover, the HK might get a run for it's money. Of course if you just don't shoot at all, it will eventually die/crash on it's own, but that isn't near as much fun.
