The specs have it at 8lbs. It is supposed to be a little cleaner than the P3AT, and from what I've heard a bout Sigmas - considerably cleaner than a Sigma.

I'll try to check 'em out at Market Hall gun show tomorrow. And hopefully remember to report back on this thread. ;-)

You might check at Cost Plus 10 as well. I've noticed that he carried the P3AT in the past, so I'd imagine that he likely has started carrying the LCP as well - probably at a better price than McBride's.

At Market Hall gun show this morning I was looking at the first one I'd found when another man showed up with serious interest in it. It was priced at $339. He haggled with the dealer a little to get it out the door for $357 something. I saw one more for $329 - which is about the same as the other man paid before sales tax. Someone said that when the doors opened, there were only 4 such guns in the whole place. I too suspect the price will come down to under $300 when the supply gets better ...

Yeah, I think I talked myself into waiting at least a few months to see if any bugs arise.

Yeah, I'm trying to stick to that too. Getting harder as time goes by, though.

I talked to someone at the Academy gun counter a while back about the LCP, he checked on there computer and when they do get it in it is priced a $260.00.
I believe that will be about the range for the LCP, at least once it really hits the market and everyone is carrying them. The gun show dealers are cashing in on its rearity right now. Can't blame them for that I guess. I know I wont pay that much for it, I can wait, its just going to be a BUG for me.

I got one for my wife Saturday morning at the Dallas show, 300.00. Going to the range tonight to see how it does. I saw a total of 6 at the show and by 10 I think they were all gone.

Academy website is listing them at $289.95 which I was told would be price when they came in, but they aren't sure when that would be. Gun dealers at show were asking MSRP or better for cash only. Credit was over 8.5% more which is more than what banks are charging to process that transaction. Better to wait.
