If Liberals win White House...

If Hillary or Obama wins the White House - I have heard many of my friends will buy up multiple black guns.....

I have heard that many are not waiting around - that they are already snatching them up. What's your opinion? How many of you have black guns? What accessories do you have?

How many plan to get one?

I'm contemplating it, but I really don't see a need to rush. Any legislation will take time. Oh, and you can just buy the receivers (which is officially the gun) and save some money that way and still be able to build just about whatever you want.

Exactly. I accept that Ron Paul will not be one of the nominees, so that leaves the GOP liberal, two Democrat liberals, plus Nader.

QFT. We had one chance for a conservative President with real regard for the Constitution. Now we've got a choice of three domestic enemies to the same.

I started buying my black guns in the late 70's. I think I'm set on them. I may get 5- AR-15 lowers just as an investment for the future. With the prices of ammo & components going way up Y'all might want to concider a stock pile of ammo or getting into reloading. Back when Slick Willy was about to be sworn in I bougth $3,000.00 wrth of ammo. I've just about used it all up. Looking back it was alot of money, but it lasted alot of years.

I bought two of these for several reasons.

My son loves shooting his Army issued Colt AK and when he's between tours, we spend time plinking. :patriot: One of them is his Christmas gift and the other is MINE. :evil2:
Much to my chagrin, there is a strong probability the Dems will gain control of the White House and we will see another "assault" weapons ban along with other gun control measures. These semi-autos will be at the top of the list.

As I've become more familiar with this weapon, it's my go-to home defense gun. The center of the light beam is close enough to iron site center that aiming is not an issue in night time close quarters situtations. 30 rounds of high velocity 5.56 is probably very effective in stopping any threat in my home. The only problem is there are so many neat toys you can adorn these things with. I have my eye on an Aimpoint sight at the moment.

This is a Bushmaster Patrolman Carbine - Texas Edition

IF! :confused5

There isn't a candidate on either side that isn't "Liberal". McCain is nowhere close enough to "conservative" for me. Hillary & Obama, well........need I say more?

Today I almost picked up a M&P 15 from the gun show in Fort Worth but I talked myself out of spending the money. I really wanted the gun and one of the dealers had an unbeatable price for the model I was interested in.

I've bought a couple of stripped lower receivers already. I am going to try to put one together this week. If it goes okay, I will probably buy a few more.

Man, I'd hate to fire one of those indoors. I'll bet it would break both eardrums and do permanent damage as well.

I'm not sure if an AR is louder than a 12 ga. But the .223 Rem round has a very sharp "CRACK" kind of sound that I find quite painful, at least out of my Mini-14. I find a 12 ga. easier to take myself.

I'll have bigger issues than eardrums if it ever comes to that. Lets hope it never happens.
From a tactical standpoint, I really like the size, weight and options in the carbines.
That said, I have Speer 00 Buckshot in my 12 gauge Remington when its sitting home waiting for bird season. No doubt a good tactical shotgun is better for home defense, but I haven't explored the options there.
