GLOCK 19 9mm X 19 w/ lasermax any info on this weapon

#1

Post by Mrjayjay00 »

I recently purchased a GLOCK 19 w/lasermax & 2 15 rd mags. and one 10 rd. mag I was wondering if anyone had any specs on this gun or what it does in ballistics gel or Human if possible or possibly even just some backyard target shooting at any article. Im packing with corbon hollows of course in which the box states that they have a cruising speed at around 1400 fps. Also I traded a Bersa Thunder .380 for this GLOCK I'm told that I got a good trade. I feel better carrying ther GLOCK and actually shoot a tighter group better w/ or w/o laser! Just asking for some other opinions on this particular weapon since it seems to be so popular. Also does anyone know of a place here in Galveston Co. 9other than a shooting range) where you can do some maybe watermelon or cantaloupe target practice if ya know what I mean?

As far as I know the wound channel is based on the bullet alone. The gun is just a reliability and accuracy factor.

Methinks if you traded the Bersa straight up for the Glock set-up described, you got a heck of a deal.

Just be sure that you shoot it enough with that internal laser widget to be positive it runs 100% with at least 200 rounds of whatever hollowpoints you plan to carry before you potentially risk your life on it.

Well I had to give an additional 500 it was actually tagged 700. Took it to the range it did well. I even had one of the range employees try it just to make sure! I'm planning on going again tomorrow and putting another 100 through it. The sights are definitely better in the daytime though the laser will be great at night it will get within my target especially when I unload 15 rds. consecutively. I have always been told to empty the mag if the occasion ever arises, thats why I have the other two mags with me as well!

This is not great advice and could get you in a heap of trouble. Stop the attack, don't "shoot to kill," "go till slide lock." or "empty the mag." Just stop the threat...whatever that means for your specific situation.
