USA Today Poll...we need to vote en mass!

#1

Post by Shootstir »

Received an email today from a trusted friend urging me to read the following
note and click on the USA Today link/poll. The questions they are asking is:

"Please vote this gun issue question with USA Today. It will only take a
few seconds of your time. Then pass the link on to all the pro gun
folks you know. Hopefully these results will be published later this
month. This upcoming year will become critical for gun owners with the
Supreme Court accepting the District of Columbia case against the right
for individuals to bear arms.

First - vote on this one.
Second - launch it to all the pro-gun folks and have THEM vote -
then we will see if the results get published."

Poll Question:
"Does the Second Amendment give individuals the right to bear arms?"

You are a bit late... look at that link. The poll question is from November. They aren't monitoring that one anymore (and it was posted here 2 months ago when it was current).

It may be late, but it's still up and running. Wonder why?

It didn't allow me to vote, only see the results.

That might be because I've already voted in the last two months.

I just assumed it was ended.

It's not displayed anywhere, so the system that runs them probably just doesn't delete them. It's pretty worthless at this point, since it's obviously only been making the rounds of gun forums/mailing lists since November.
