IF You Could Only Have One Gun
I know some of you hate these threads, but you don’t have to participate.
If you could only have one gun what would it be? I am really curious to see what people would trust their life and their families life to.
Mine would be a Glock 19. (Again if I could only have one.)

A Wilson or other high end 1911.
The reason is that I am most confident in my ability with a 1911 than any other type.
It’s what I was raised with.

Hard choice!
I'm gonna go with M&P9 2.0 Fullsize
That said there are a bunch of pistols I wouldn't want to go without.

Re: IF You Could Only Have One Gun
I'd move to somewhere I could have more than one!
But seriously, I'd have to go with a Glock 17. Not my personal favorite, but for reliability, accessibility to parts and magazines, ease of maintenance, and availability of ammo it's gotta be floating up there near the top.
I might answer differently if could have only one specific model of gun, but I could have as many of them as I wanted and could always be guaranteed to have as much ammo for them as I wanted.
But wow, Carl, I had enough trouble answering the previous question about what I'd have if I could only have three guns!

Depends on the purpose. Concealed carry, home defense, hunting, EOTHWAWKI survival...?? If it's for "all of the above," I'd go with an AR-10.

Re: IF You Could Only Have One Gun
THIS! My Glock 17 with an optic on it. Plenty of magazines for it. Plenty of ammo for it. It's what I normally daily carry (or some Glock variant). And I've literally shot thousands of rounds through it in training classes alone, not counting range time by myself or with friends.Rafe wrote: ↑Thu May 11, 2023 9:10 am I'd move to somewhere I could have more than one!

If I am out and about, it would be my primary EDC, my Colt Defender. If at my office, my desk gun is XD45. If at home, probably my shotgun or AR-15. Too many choices

Mine would be my Glock 19X. It has had a trigger job and now sports a Holosun red dot. It is a great shooter, and I would and do trust my life with it.

Colt Combat Commander Series 70 for me. Easy to carry and I shoot it better than anything else in the safe.
