Henry Rifle Sight replacement

#1

Post by cmgee67 »

Does anyone know if I can replace my front and rear sight off of my standard Henry rifle in 45-70 to the fiber optics sights that come from on the X-model?

Of course, you just ave to purchase the right sight (Round/Octagon barrel; Drilled & tapped or dovetail). Plenty of videos on Youtube detailing the process. Went with the skinner peep sight on my Henry 327 mag

Get on Hiviz sights site and pick out the set that fit your 45-70.

Yes you can. I replaced the OEM sights on my Henry .22 with their fiberoptic sights. It’s a big improvement. https://www.amazon.com/dp/B01MZB9JQX/re ... UTF8&psc=1

That said, on the Marlin .45-70 I used to own, I replaced the rear sight with a receiver-mounted Williams WRGS-336 adjustable peep sight, and the front with a fiberoptic sight I bought on eBay. Here’s the complete package on Amazon…
